Mayambela faces six weeks out

Chippa United’s worst fears have been confirmed with the news that winger Mark Mayambela will be missing for some six weeks with a fractured bone in his foot.
Mayambela picked up the injury in the 2-1 Absa Premiership victory over Cape Town City, which forced him out of Sunday 1-0 Telkom Knockout win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
Coach Teboho Moloi has now confirmed that he will be missing for six weeks, but he hopes for better news around the injured duo of Katlego Mashego and Sandile Zuke.
They are likely to still be out for Wednesday’s away trip to BidVest Wits, but could return for the Telkom Knockout quarterfinal against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.
