Ex-Man U Midfielder, Liam Miller Gets Support From Football World After News Emerge He's Battling Cancer


The football world is rallying round former Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller after it emerged he's battling cancer.

The ex Republic of Ireland international, who started his career at Celtic and also had spells at Leeds, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers, has received several messages online.

Both former team-mates and fans posted words of encouragement on social media. They included John Hartson, who played alongside Miller at Celtic and also battled cancer, beating the disease after successful surgery and chemotherapy.


He wrote: "My thoughts are with Liam miller and his family this morning. Hope he can get through this difficult time of his life."
