Nurse Arrested With Stolen Hospital Equipment After Being Exposed By Whistleblower

Police operatives have arrested a nurse allegedly found in possession of Government hospital equipment. The 58-year-old nurse identified as Heph Mutisa Kwesiga, a senior midwife at Kanungu Health Center IV in Uganda, was arrested when a whistle-blower tipped off Police.


After searching the suspect’s home, she was found in possession of various medical equipment & medicine which she could not account for .

These included cefraxion, oxticin, kits of digital BP machines, surgical gloves, thermal hygrometer and kidney dish among others.
