Williams and Alexis Ohanian have tied the knot in a lavish wedding. The tennis ace, 36, and millionaire Reddit co-founder, 34, said 'I do' in front of a slew of celebrities at the Contemporary Arts Centre in New Orleans. The reception followed just outside in a closed-off street.

The star guest list featured the likes of Beyonce, Beyonce's mum Tina Knowles, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Selita Ebanks, Editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour and Colton Haynes.

Former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, who was joined by her husband Jose Baston, and fellow tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and her NBA star fiance David Lee were also in attendance.


According to reports, the theme of the wedding was Beauty and the Beast and the guests entered the venue to Be Our Guest playing.

They were treated to music from New Edition, while a brass band was pictured playing during the outdoor reception.

The high-profile guests are said to have only been given the exact location in the Louisana city the morning of the nuptials.

The wedding is believed to have cost more than $1million, with a source telling the Daily Mail: "Serena and Alexis have spared no expense on their dream wedding.

"They have hired the best of the best and can't wait to get married in The Big Easy. It's a special city for Serena and somewhere she has always loved."

The previous night Serena and Alexis, who welcomed their daughter Alexis into the world almost three months ago, were joined by close friends and family, including Eva and Colton, for a rehearsal dinner that was held at celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse's restaurant.
