British newspaper editor, Francis Matthew gets 10 years' jail for wife's murder in Dubai

Former editor-at-large of Gulf News will serve 10 years in a Dubai Prison following the killing of his wife.
Francis Matthew, the former editor-at-large for Gulf News had been accused of the premeditated murder of his 62-year-old wife Jane at their Jumeirah villa in July 2017. Matthew had previously pleaded not guilty. The former editor was not present at the verdict which was handed out on Sunday. Matthew will serve 10 years and will be deported following the case.
