This Morning Viewers Left In Shock After Woman Takes Off Her Nose Live On Air

A guest shocked This Morning viewers by pulling off her prosthetic nose mid-interview.

Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford , Jayne Hardman revealed that her 14 stone dog had jumped on her and the injury triggered a shock diagnosis.

Jayne later found out that she had been secretly suffering from rare autoimmune disease Wegener’s granulomatosis, which can lie dormant until a physical trauma or infection.

The disease affects 11 out of a million people and ate away at Jayne's body tissue.

Jayne's nose ended up collapsing and ended up being too terrified to go out alone, describing herself as "hideous".

However, appearing on This Morning today, she showed off her magnetic prosthetic nose which allows her to smell and breathe.

And viewers found Jayne's attitude incredibly inspiring.

One tweeted: "So proud that Jayne is on #thismorning can’t wait to catch up with it later. vasculitis is such a horrible disease!"
