Novo Cinemas & Reel Cinemas, Dubai are showing the World Cup

The World Cup kicks off tomorrow in Russia, and Dubai has been awash with footy fever as final preparations are underway for the biggest tournament in football.

Bars and clubs across the city have been getting ready and some huge fan zones have been popping up around town, many of which are able to hold thousands of people.

Now, two of the city’s top cinema brands have announced that they’ll be showing all the action on the big screen, and not only can you head along to see every kick in the comfort of a movie theatre, but you can also win some pretty mega prizes along the way (spoiler alert: you can win tickets to Russia to catch some of the games, too).

Novo Cinemas
This cinema is getting all of its Dubai complexes in on the action, with tickets to see all matches for Dhs90, except for the final, which is Dhs120. All tickets come with some classic cinema snacks too – a small popcorn and a Coke. If you’re a little more peckish you can also tuck in on nachos, hot dogs and ice cream, too.

Matches will be screened at the Megaplex in Ibn Battuta and Festival City Mall in Dubai, plus its locations in Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

Reel Cinemas
Reel will be showing the matches in all three of its Dubai locations, at The Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall and the Jebel Ali Recreation Club, and you can get the chance to win tickets to Russia just by booking your tickets to the cinema’s match day screenings. Pairs of tickets to group games Saudi Arabia vs Egypt (on Monday June 25) and South Korea vs Germany (on Wednesday June 27) are up for grabs, and you can be entered into the draw for the tickets by booking your tickets in advance before the end of Wednesday June 13.
