Osinbajo Expected In Edo State On A 2-Day Visit


Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, will today pay a two-day visit to Edo State to inaugurate projects executed by the state government.

Osinbajo is expected to arrive in Benin at about 2pm, will preside over a town hall meeting with stakeholders on illegal migration, among other issues.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, the projects to be inaugurated include the Edo State Innovation Hub and the 1,800 housing units at the Emotan Garden Estate. He is also expected to visit the 450 megawatts Edo-Azura Power Plant in Ihovbor community, in the Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of the state, and the Edaiken market in Uselu.


He would also meet clergymen on Friday during a breakfast meeting.
