And now organisers have revealed the price of tickets to the six-month event, which kicks off in October 2020. They will go on sale in April 2020, so there's still a bit of a wait, but it's more than worth getting excited about it now. An adult day pass costs Dhs120 while a three-day pass, offering access on any three days throughout the event, is priced at Dhs260. Kids aged six-17 and students get a 50 percent discount, while children aged five and under as well as seniors over the age of 65 can visit for free. People of determination will also get complimentary access, while their carers can enter for half-price.

Sanjive Khosla, deputy chief of sales and marketing at Expo 2020 Dubai, said:
"With less than 550 days to go before the biggest event ever to be held in the Arab region, excitement is building up fast. "We can't wait to welcome millions of visitors from around the globe, as we make every effort to ensure that our welcome is warm and reflective of the rich Arabic tradition of hospitality. "We aim to be a World Expo that is accessible to all and we believe the ticket prices and concessions will help us achieve that ambition." Throughout Expo 2020, There will be live performances from world-famous stars and comedy greats, cultural experiences from poetry slams to fashion shows and talks with the world’s top academics.
The event will also heavily focus on innovation – whether it’s make-your-own robot workshops or exhibitions showcasing the latest 3D printing technology. It’s even possible to go under the sea or walk through a simulated Arabian wadi at the interactive Terra Exhibition. Every day during the 173 days of Expo 2020, a different country will also be featured in a cultural showcase that includes parades and other festivities.
