Entry for valid UAE residence visa holders continues to be suspended
Entry into the UAE for all foreign nationals holding a valid UAE residence visa is to continue to be suspended for at least the next two weeks, according to Emirates news service WAM.
This has recently been launched through MoFAIC’s website to “facilitate their safe return to the UAE in emergency situations”.
It has just been announced that a limited number of outbound-only Emirates passenger flights will resume from Monday April 6, to destinations including London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich.

The renewed suspension will continue from Thursday April 2 and will be for a renewable period of two weeks, in a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus. Those holding valid UAE visas, and now staying abroad, have been asked by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to register in the 'Tawajudi for Residents’ Service.#UAE renews entry suspension for foreign nationals holding valid UAE residence visas for two weeks#WamNews https://t.co/A0EL0HY5Um pic.twitter.com/79BkYTyzI0— WAM English (@WAMNEWS_ENG) April 2, 2020
