Former President Barack Obama has extended his 'best wishes' to President Trump following his coronavirus diagnosis.

Bill and Hillary Clinton also wished Trump and First Lady Melania a 'speedy recovery' after they were diagnosed with COVID-19 and the president was hospitalized. 

The former president and his wife, Trump's 2016 opponent in the presidential race, tweeted out separate but identical statements on Friday night, after Trump was airlifted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
