Newlywed couple go missing on their honeymoon

A newlywed couple from Texas has been missing for more than two weeks after taking off on their private plane for their honeymoon.

Forrest and Donna Sanco were last seen in the Bahamas, Fox affiliate KDFW , traveling in a 51-year-old Cessna 150.

It was the first leg of their honeymoon, and they were bound for Rum Cay but never arrived, friends and relatives told the news channel.

Now their loved ones are scouring the Caribbean looking for clues on their whereabouts, hiring search teams to lead the effort.

His friend,Jason Gox said he’d communicated with Forrest throughout the trip until he reached the Bahamas. Their last conversation was via email on Sept. 26.

“That was my last correspondence,” Fox told KXAS.

Forrest mentioned trouble with his plane he’d gotten fixed. “No big deal,” he reportedly emailed to Fox.

The last trace, relatives said, was a photo Forrest posted to Instagram during a fuel stop two hours from Rum Cay, KDFW reported.

The couple went to school together and rekindled their romance after reconnecting years later, relatives said.
